This video provides information on comparable projects related to the Scratchpads. Specifically we mention the Encyclopedia of Life (EOL), the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL), Rod Page's iPhylo, Donat Agosti & colleagues plazi, the Consortium for the Barcode of Life (CBoL), David Eade's Species File content management system. We also discuss the EDIT project through which the Scratchpads were conceived and partly supported.
